Sleep Medicine

About

Program Description

The UCSF sleep medicine fellowship is a partnership between UCSF and the San Francisco VA. The fellowship is one year and offers two spots annually. Fellows have exposure to a wide range of sleep disorders including obstructive and central sleep apnea, insomnia, sleep related movement disorders, circadian rhythm disorders, parasomnias, and central hypersomnias. Fellows follow a year-round schedule with continuity clinic at both UCSF and SFVA. They will have opportunity to participate in a wide range of additional clinics including strong training in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia. UCSF boasts a wide range of sleep research opportunities and fellows are encouraged to become involved during their year of training.
